There will be channel reduction in Cabal Online. Oops! Do we sense a bad performance here? There's really no reason to lessen the channels unless of course when they find their channels more than what they really need to handle their traffic.
That is, less players, less channels. Ack!

The Ignis Mountains…
It’s the hottest place in the Xenia continent. Active volcanoes scorch the skies with ash, leaving the land in perpetual darkness while rivers of boiling hot lava cut through the countryside.
And in this barren wasteland, a war between gods is brewing.

New Warp Stone Added
The new warp stone will hopefully go some way to balancing the two nations. It gives one of the key winning benefits, in the warp feature, to the losing nation and makes life on the losing side that bit easier to take.
At last I was able to play the Alpha Test of e-Games' Runes of Magic yesterday. I'd been itching to play it since they started last 28th but the typhoon Ondoy made my internet connection so slow that I only finished downloading the client yesterday afternoon.

I downloaded Twelve Sky 2 last night cuz my dentist (who’s a hardcore RF player) recommended it. Twelve Sky 2 is still in pre-beta so I was kinda expecting bugs and crashes.
The download anyway was so slow. I just know it wasn’t my internet connection cuz I could download in a much, much faster speed in other sites. So I waited for like 4 hours for the 2 gigabyte download, and installed it afterwards. The patch was equally slow but I decided to wait since I really wanted to play the game.
What I also liked about Twelve Sky 2 is that it runs on a fairly slow computer. I could even use my old computer I set up in the dining to play the game based on the recommended hardware requirements they have up at the download page.
Anyway, I was patching the game this morning when my Avira antivirus got mad. LOL! Avira reads TwelveSky2.exe as a trojan! I ok’d on the “Deny Access” option which was default on Avira pop-ups, but gah the process deleted the exe file.
After that, I did a reinstall (without uninstalling) but the exe file was still missing. So uninstall the game, I did. And before reinstalling it, I put “TwelveSky2.exe” in the ignore list of both the “scan” and “guard” options of Avira.
Well, now I can play the game fairly smooth. I’m just half-worried that the exe file is really a trojan! Haha what it’d do to my whole (virtual) life if it damages my files!
But anyway, I’m pretty sure it’s not. And besides, I’m playing the pre-beta just to get the feel of the game so I could play (hopefully) hardcore when it gets commercial.

Do note also that after the closing of the SRR on August 10, the GM team will not be able to remove trapped characters inside the said cave. Make sure you don't logout again inside SRR for it will only be open for a limited time.
Please avoid logging into the game during the specified time to avoid any inconvenience on your account.
From August 5 to September 6, Flyff is giving away gifts to those who log in for a minimum of 1 hour a day. The gift will be mailed 2 hours after that 1 unbroken hour you spend in the game. 
But not only that, you get better gifts for logging in daily for at least an hour. If you miss a day, you can reset and start all over again.
But that’s sad cuz your chances of getting the better gift will also be reset. You don’t want that, do you? So play now and log in for at least one hour everyday!

I went to Bonifacio Global City Open Field yesterday for the Yahoo!-Level Up! event. I arrived 2 pm expecting the activities at the Level Up! booth is already ongoing (their website says 12 noon).
Sad to say the only activity going on were people lined up to get freebies. 
The Yahoo! Purple Hunt Finale was about to start when we arrived but the few people present were watching from afar because of the scorching heat. 
The only ones near the stage were the participants.
Taguig City Mayor Freddie Tinga (center in black shirt) graced the occasion with his daughter (in white long-sleeved shirt). 
The top prize – Honda Jazz – was won by Calvin Galgana. 
It was so hot at the event that I left after the Honda Jazz winner was announced. I wasn’t able to take pictures because I was at the Level Up! booth getting my freebies.
