RF Online: Servers Down Until Further Notice

Due to the "Error Character Selection” that accounts  with Cora characters are experiencing, RF is bringing its servers down starting today (July 28th) until further notice.

We really wonder when RF’s problems will end…

Level Up! Rewards is Back!

Level Up! is bringing the LU! Rewards back. For those who have no idea what it is, LU! Rewards is a reward system (obviously) which gives you points everytime you top-up. Points are accumulated and are used to redeem in-game items for any Level Up! game of choice. Of course the items have corresponding points, so you better start topping-up now to get the cool item you want.

The Yahoo!-Level Up! Global City Event

I went to Bonifacio Global City Open Field yesterday for the Yahoo!-Level Up! event. I arrived 2 pm expecting the activities at the Level Up! booth is already ongoing (their website says 12 noon).
 

Sad to say the only activity going on were people lined up to get freebies.

The Yahoo! Purple Hunt Finale was about to start when we arrived but the few people present were watching from afar because of the scorching heat.
 
The only ones near the stage were the participants.

Taguig City Mayor Freddie Tinga (center in black shirt) graced the occasion with his daughter (in white long-sleeved shirt).
 

The top prize – Honda Jazz – was won by Calvin Galgana.
 

It was so hot at the event that I left after the Honda Jazz winner was announced. I wasn’t able to take pictures because I was at the Level Up! booth getting my freebies.

Crazy Kart: The Return of Offroad and Wang Wang

Offroad is back in Crazy Kart’s Shopping Mall until the 27th of July. It sells for 2500 cash points with a durability of 850.

Audition Dance Battle's newest patch - the Patch 6040 - is now ready for download.

Patch notes:
• Over 50 NEW in-game items
• Shopping Mall chatting system
• Macro option that allows players to change their game information

RAN Online: Search For New Character Class

RAN Online is in search of ideas for a new character class, and they're making it into a sort of contest where any RAN Online player can join. If you have any ideas for a cool character class, then make it! Make sure that it includes the following:

- Weapon
- Skills (including skill names and corresponding description)
- Strength and weakness
- Character sketch (if possible)

The RAN Online Team will accept entries till July 31, 2009. Just e-mail your ideas to rangangcongress@yahoo.com. Make sure to include your username. Subject field must be "RAN Create-a-Character Global Competition."

The winner will get a unique and exclusive in-game hat.

- Only 1 Event per day. A message will appear upon your first log in for the day to inform you of the Rainbow 7 event running for the day


- To help you in your adventures, Rainbow Potions will drop from mobs!

Rainbow 7 Events:
1. +50% EXP for Dungeon Runs
2. +50% GP for Dungeon Runs and PVP Matches
3. +20% Dungeon Drop Rate
4. +50% Rune Upgrading Rate and use HALF of Aging Core Requirements in upgrading
For example:
- GM Mac used 4 Aging Cores in upgrading, during the Rainbow 7 Event period, only 2 will be used!

4) Equipment to be traded in may have cards and upgrades, but the reward item will not have a card and the equipment's current upgrade level will NOT be added to the upgrade level of the reward item.

Example:
Player trades in a +9 Black Bunny Band and Balloon Hat. Player will receive 1 Vesper Card.

Winning Conditions:
Just trade in your upgraded Black Bunny Band along with other requirements to claim your prize

Trading:
1) Bring item/s for trade on the day your server is scheduled for the event.
Location: Rachel town (156,130)
2) Wear the Black Bunny Band, fall in one line and wait for your turn to trade the Bunny Band. You will be summoned on a special place. When a player gets disconnected, the player following the disconnected player may move to that player's place. The disconnected player will have to line up again.
3) Players who delay the awarding process will be sanctioned with a 2 day chat ban (48 hours). This includes, but is not limited to the following:
• Making nuisance chat windows
• Cutting through the line
• Not giving the correct upgraded Black Bunny Band and equipment when its time to trade
4) Only a maximum of 5 upgraded Black Bunny Bands are allowed per transaction. This is to give time to all other people who are also joining the event.

Prize Awarding:
For +8BBB, +9BBB and +10BBB, corresponding items will be traded by the GMs on the event day. For +7BBB, GMs will insert the rewards not later than August 12, 2009.
