RF Online: Servers Down Until Further Notice

Due to the "Error Character Selection” that accounts  with Cora characters are experiencing, RF is bringing its servers down starting today (July 28th) until further notice.

We really wonder when RF’s problems will end…

RF Online: Parole Program

All suspended RF Online accounts from January 2009 to present will be re-evaluated and released by batches after they've been cleaned up of hot items (read: duplicates). And better beware. You shouldn't violate your "parole" cuz if you do, you'd be banned from the game forever.

Parole Program Process:
◦Temporary suspended accounts as of January 2009
◦Must be level 47 and above
◦Must not be included in the NDH or Novus Death Hall
◦All accounts will be subjected to “Hot Item” wipe
◦The release of the accounts will be done in batches.
◦The official list of the pardoned accounts can be viewed in the Novus Resurrection List under Galactic Assembly of the RF Boards

This program is for the players who acquired hot items through ingame only.

RF Online: Novus Rising Starts Patching Today

Good news to RF Online addicts - the Novus Rising patch is now being uploaded to the server so you better run that Novus Rising installer now. Or if you haven't downloaded it yet, here are the links:

Installation Instructions
If you have downloaded the torrent, just double-click on the exe file, accept the end user license agreement, choose the directory to install, and wait for it to finish installing.

But if you have downloaded the 4-part installer, make sure you have saved them all in one folder, double click part 1, accept the EULA, choose installation directory, wait for it to finish installing, and you're done.

Novus Rising Features

New Level Cap to 66 (0%)
Level cap is now raised to level 66. Leveling spots would be Outcast Land and Bio Labs.

Premium Service
Premium accounts get additional benefits aside from the mods. Upon logging in, the accounts get a series of free items which vanish each time when the account is logged-out. It re-appears upon login provided their Premium account status is still active.

NOTE: There must be free space in the characters inventory to receive the free items.

RF Online: Novus Rising

RF Online's newest and most anticipated patch, Novus Rising, is now available for download. Torrent only, though, and what's available for download is not just a patch but a full client with the latest patch included. And since it's a full client, you have to uninstall your previous ones first before installing.

This new release will reportedly fix the glitches and bugs in the current RF server, therefore preventing the frequent server crashes.

I'm sure RF diehards can't wait to get their hands on this new client. But wait, you can't install it just yet. You have to wait for their announcement before doing so. LOL!
