Cross Fire Philippine Team is now searching for its representatives for 2012!

After the Pride of Champions League (PCL) which happened from August 19, 2011 to September 18, 2011 nationwide, top 8 teams emerged. Team MOTV from Cebu won the grand title while Cristal (formerly AZK) and Saintz from Manila raced runners up accordingly. Gameclub sent the one and only Crossfire Philippine Team who proudly represented the Philippines at the most highly anticipated e-sports gaming festival---World Cyber Games last December 8-11, 2011, in Busan, Korea.

This May 2012, Crossfire will once again invade the regions from Luzon to Mindanao holding onsite tournaments and finals like never seen before. The best team might get a good chance to represent the country in the prestigious World Cyber Games 2012 in China happening late this year.

Weapons of War releases Black Dragon and Dragon Panda Lotto

This summer, as it heats up the year of the dragon, Weapons of War also adds the new Black Dragon Lotto to its item mall.

Players now have the rare chance to grab the latest Black Dragon Mount which gives them additional 40% move speed! But the fun doesn’t stop there, along with the new Black Dragon Lotto comes the Dragon Panda Lotto!

The Dragon Panda Lotto can be obtained by acquiring Dragon Panda Beads and then exchanging it from the Dragon Panda Bead Collector at certain towns. It contains a wide variety of rare items from upgrading, buffs, mount and the new Dragon Panda Pet! The Dragon Panda pet is not your ordinary cute sidekick that accompany you on your day to day adventure, it also gives a 5% additional Elemental damage to your character giving you an extra edge in battle!

Also this month, the Blood Palace Championship, which is a part of the War for Supremacy Tournament, starts. Participants are now required to participate in the Blood Palace War every Saturday in order to gain points. By the end of the elimination round, points will be tallied and only the top 8 guilds will be part of the next leg of the tournament.

What’s new with iDate?

iDate releases its March patch which is all about “Graduation.” Graduation gowns, limited edition pets and title banners (Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Dean’s Lister, and Teacher’s Pet), a tuxedo suit for male and a cocktail gown for female.

Genghis Khan Online: March Patch Notes

WHAT’S NEW WITH GENGHIS?

It’s finally here, Patch Day for GK! And yes they have listened, the guys (and girls) behind Genghis Khan Online are rolling out a new patch this coming March! And it looks like there will be a lot of changes.

Right of the bat, EXP! They are adjusting the experience rate for mid-level players, you won’t be stuck grinding forever trying to reach that elusive level to finally get your hands dirty and bash in some skulls in PvP! Oh, don’t worry about those guys that are way above your level, they have promised everything would be nice and balanced, with cherry on top.

My friends inside Gameclub told me that the cool down on skills, well let’s just say won’t be as abusive as before, you can finally put up a good fight against keyboard warriors that just constantly spam skills. Some of the skills would be tweak and adjusted as to balance the gameplay. But don’t shoot me if you don’t like it (I’m just the messenger) as this won’t be permanent. They want your feedback, so if you like it or don’t like it, just drop a message at their forums.

Offline “Actplay” or in simple terms, leveling up while logged out, this feature will no longer cost you an arm and leg (and kidney). It is finally affordable!

So, you wanted to try out your counterpart class? Or tired of your current class? No worries as you can finally change your class!

And for the players that spend, there will be more items to buy at your nearest one stop bazaar shop. And oh, they have adjusted some item pricing too!

The future of Genghis Khan is looking bright, with all these new patches rolling out; implementing suggestions made by gamers and with constant content coming out, this game is starting to look even better.

Dragona raises level cap to 50

The Long wait is finally over! Level Cap 50 on March 29, 2012

The update will raise the level cap to 50 and new a dungeon, map and town will be added. Also, players who reach level 40 before the cap increase will receive a permanent unique set of accessories which will help them as they embark in a new journey in the Continent of Bartan – Land of Orpheus.

The Desert Frontier of Orpheus - Unlock the Mysteries Beneath the Sand

The secret land of Orpheus was buried under the ruins of the desert. As years passed, the once lifeless land eventually became an oasis. This oasis became the habitat of numerous monsters that roam freely around the land of Orpheus. The Rune that crashed in the middle of the desert during the Dragon Wars 1000 years ago was actually the lost town of Nilvan and the traces of it still remain intact. Monsters found in this map are from level 41-50.

The Lost Rune Arc of Nilvan – Ancient Knowledge in the New World

The original rune arc that crashed hundreds of years ago became the lost town of Nilvan. This arc was actually the main control tower that controls the essence of the mystical magic of the Purian race. Unfortunately, the once proud arc crashed down in the land of Orpheus. Players may teleport to this town through the Portal Stone.

Hatchling Paradise Dungeon – Into the Garden of Beasts

The level of Difficulty of this Dungeon is from level 40-45, where you can enter through the NPC located in the Orpheus map.

Crossfire: Zombie Apocalypse [AI Mode]

Are you ready for the newest game mode in Crossfire Philippines? Gear up, and team with the best mercenaries in Crossfire for Zombie Apocalypse (AI Mode) is finally here!

The game focuses on cooperative team play (maximum of 4 players). Prove yourselves worthy and survive until the end by defending yourselves from apocalyptic wave of zombies. There are new zombie characters with skills that will surprise you as they go through your way: Fast Nanos (Sprinter), Ghost Assassins (Semi-invisible while moving), Reapers, Hulks (Movement speed dramatically increases for a limited time), Boomers (Suicide Explosion) and Ink Nano (Releases black smoke for a limited time). Rewards for this mode may vary based on the score of a mercenary. Are you apt to the challenge? Then what are you waiting for?

What to expect:

Players can choose between 2 maps:

1. BL CAMP
   • Mercenaries consistently stay on same area however the level of difficulty increases.
2. SECRET VALLEY
   • An expedition battle map where in players should finish each level wave so they could move forward to the next battle ground.

Level of Difficulty

1. EASY
   • 20 massive waves of zombies to finish
2. MEDIUM
   • 30 massive waves of zombies to finish

Cross Fire's Hero Mode Patch

Good news to Cross Fire Philippines players! The much-awaited Hero Mode Patch very soon!

The Hero Mode Patch features the new action-packed game mode called Hero Mode, an advanced version of the Zombie Mode wherein one player will be chosen to be the powerful “Hero.” The patch will also include new lotto weapons namely MG3, a low recoil machine gun and Christmas Set that includes Holiday themed AK47, Kriss Super V, M249 and the first ever permanent melee weapon, Kris. There will also be an addition in the Zombie characters, the fast and scary Assassin.

What's more, the game is giving out free Gold AK47 and Gold Katana both for 30 days to users who were able to log in from October 1, 2011 to November 30, 2011 and to those who were unable to log in since July 12, 2011 to October 31, 2011.

The Best of Luck for Crossfire Team Philippines at World Cyber Games 2011

Crossfire Team Philippines is now in Busan, Korea to represent the country at the World Cyber Games 2011 on December 8 to 11, 2011.

The Philippine Team was composed of some members from Cebu's Team MOTV, winner of Crossfire Pride of Champions League (PCL) National Finals, joined by some members from the PCL runner-up, Team Cristal. Problems with VISA applications prohibited other MOTV members from flying to Korea, thus, some members of Cristal were called to complete the team.

Genghis Khan Online Enters Open Beta Phase on December 8

Gameclub's Genghis Khan enters the Open Beta Phase tomorrow, December 8, 2011. The Closed Beta Phase ended last December 5 leaving hundreds of beta testers craving for the real deal.

Gameclub Releases Genghis Khan PH

Gameclub Philippines is releasing a new game titled Genghis Khan. Yep! The historical icon is now in the gaming world. And he's coming to the Philippines on November 29, 2011.

Genghis Khan is developed by Kylin Games, bringing history and fantasy in the game. The setting is 1300 AD Mongolia and the mission is to help build the empire, fight off invasions, and combat other kingdoms.

You can climb the rank from a new recruit to the army to King or Queen of your chosen kingdom. There are 12 classes and 8 professions to choose from. Mounts are also available. What's exciting is that you can also get EXP while visiting the theme park or dancing in the club.

Weapons of War's Ascendance Patch

Gameclub's Weapons of War is releasing its 4th major patch this month, tentatively on September 28th. Along with the new patch comes a new level cap, new maps, new mounts, new monsters and new quests.

Sharpen your swords, reinforce your armors and call your comrades as Weapons of War releases its 4^th major patch this September 2011! Along with the new patch comes the underwater content as the barricades to the Dragon Village Port are opened. They will now face a new level of competition as the Level Cap is raised to 75! New quests await them as they venture new maps and new monsters for them to slay.

What would be an underwater content with no underwater mount? Yes, you’ve heard it right! For those who will be lucky enough, a Dark Night Ray Mount is waiting for you from the newest lotto in the item mall. It’s not just the water mount to be unfolded, a speedy adventure for them once they get the extra 5% move speed from the Moon Rabbit Pet! Also new avatars are available for those who are tired of seeing the same interface.

Millions of monsters will hide in fear as players go in a frenzy monster hunt as they race to be the first level 75 of their class. Cool prizes will be given away to those who will reach the level cap in time. All of this will come this September on Weapons of War Ascendance Patch.

iDate Will Have Clan Wars and Reversion Battle in October

Gameclub's iDate has just increased the level cap from 50 to 60 last month. Are you on your way to the cap? I hope you are cuz iDate will have its Clan Wars and Reversion Battle this coming October 2011.

Last year in iDate, two players became so popular for being the 1^st female and 1^st male to reach Level 50. These players are ~EXO~Yuna<3HugS and ~EXO~VCM~Sheen*, notice that they are from the same clan, and that makes Exoduz Family clan so proud of them.

Just this August 25, 2011, iDate increased the level cap to 60. After a week, few players reached level 51^st right away. But the big question is “who will be the 1^st female and male players to reach Level 60?”

Truly iDate is an addicting game, one of the best stress relievers. iDate is very unique because of the easy game play, cool graphics, K-pop songs. This is a game where you can express yourself by dressing up your character that virtually represents yourself inside the game. It is also different from others in a way that it reaches out to the players and helps them enhance their social interaction and gives them chances to meet and befriend people around the Philippines. Not only that! This game is for the huge age range of players, amazingly a fun game for the young and young at heart.

The best part of the game is to experience the “online dating”, young adults enjoy this feature because it boost their determination to ask someone to go on a date even if in just one of the dating rooms inside the game. Dragona PH CBT Starts July 28, 2011

After a long wait, Gameclub is finally releasing their much-awaited game so far - Dragona Online Philippines - for a Pre-Beta Phase on July 28, 2011.

The news created a somewhat happy vibe in the game's Facebook page. It accumulated some 150 comments just 20 minutes after its posting.

Some, though, have doubts if it's really true. They say they're already used to having it moved that's why they won't be surprised if Gameclub would announce any day from now that the CBT is postponed for next month.

Others, though, are just happy that it's finally coming out. But one thing is for sure, whether happy commenter or not, they are surely fans of the game. They won't care to comment if they're not, right?
