Point Blank's "Alodia Challenge"

Point Blank's ALODIA CHALLENGE will take place tomorrow, July 19, 2011 at EGG, G/F SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Do you have what it takes to outdo the Cosplay Princess and her elite crew? Then go to EGG tomorrow, and be there early cuz registration starts at 1 PM. Only the first eight (8) teams to register will get slots in the elimination that will decide who will face Alodia Gosiengfiao and her team.

Each participating team must have five (5) members each. The will be no substitutions allowed once a team successfully registers and team members must be in the event vicinity once the tournament starts. In addition, each participating team will appoint a team captain. – pointblankph.com

Mechanics:

1. Tournament Elimination: Single Elimination
2. Both team captains will toss a coin. Winning team will get a chance to pick:

• Team (Blue or Red)
• Map

3. Team captains will ban a particular map until one (1) map is left.
4. Game mode

a) Bomb Mission
i. Game Map:

• Luxville
• Downtown
• Outpost
• Blowcity
• Stormtube

ii. First team to reach 5 wins will determine the winning team
iii. Game time: 3 minutes
iv. Rounds:

• 1st round (eliminations) will be 3 round match w/ a 3min time
• 2nd round (Semi’s) will be 5 round Match w/ a 3min time
• 3rd round (Finals) will be 7 round match w/ a 3min time

v. Weapon Restriction: None

5. Game continues even when the player(s) get disconnected.
6. Game Marshals/Event Facilitators decision is final.

The winning team will then face Team Alodia in a 10-minute death match game wherein the first team to reach 160 kills wins. The officiating game master will decide the map where the game will take place. If the tournament winners successfully defeats Team Alodia, the will earn a special prize!

The champion team will get a 7-day weapon of choice from the following:

• Sub Machine Gun: Mp5 –SL, Spectre
• Assault Rifle: SG550, G36
• Sniper Rifle: Dragunov, PSG
• Shotguns: Spas-15, 870MCS

Each member will also get e-Points and exclusive Point Blank merchandise. Members of each participating team that successfully registered will automatically get a Mini bomb in-game item.
