WoW Patch 3.2 - Call of the Crusade

World of Warcraft (WoW) will be releasing its 3.2 patch soon, and it's called Call of the Crusade. There will be major changes on the Ardent Tournament, class, item, profession, mount and travel.

Soft Sailor has this initial release notes:

1. Argent Tournament:

• New 5, 10, and 25 man instance to WoW.
• Argent Coliseum – an event similar to the Ring of Blood in Nagrand.
• Raid level root is higher than Ulduar.
• Black Knight is back.
• Two new quest hubs in Icecrown – Cult of the Damned, and a Vrykul outpost.
• Isle of Conquest – a new battleground.
• New dailies and new rewards.
• New heirlooms.

2. Class changes:

• Death Knights: dual wielding makeover.
• Druids: new Druid forms – Cat Form: Tauren & Night Elf; Bear Form: Tauren & Night Elf; Old bear and cat forms to be removed.
• Hunters: ammo costs, pet scaling, and crowd control.
• Shamans: Resto Shamans changes, and new Shaman totem interface.

3. Item changes:

• Chest heirlooms with 10% XP bonus.

4. Profession changes:

• Epic gems.
• Updates to: Alchemy, Enchanting, Engineering, Herbalism, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, and Tailoring.

5. Mounts and Travel:

• Ulduar Plagued and Black Proto-Drakes removed.
• New zeppelin route between Thunder Bluff and Orgrimmar.
• Portals in Stormwind and Orgrimmar leading to the Stair of Destiny at the Dark Portal.
• Class travel skills reduced to Level 16.
• Epic land mounts trainable at level 40 [was 60].
• Regular flying mounts speed increased to 150% gain [was 60%].
• Regular flying mounts trainable at level 60 [was 70].
• Regular land mounts trainable at level 20 [was 30].

The New Samsung Scopia VC240

Samsung presents Scopia VC240 HD video conference LCD monitor. It has a 5 megapixel webcam attached that allows 720p 30fps.

Scopia VC240 is a 23.6-incher with 1920x1080 full HD resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 170/160-degree viewing angle. It also has a noise-cancelling mic and 3Wx2 speakers.

The monitor supports V2oIP and is compatible with SIP.

It costs much, though, at $1999. Scopia VC240 will be available Fall 2009.

Asus and Disney has teamed up to create a netbook that's fun, web-safe and easy to use - the Disney Netpal. And you might have guessed it by the mere mention of Disney, the Netpal is specifically designed for kids.

Apple Warns Palm About iTunes Syncing

Seems like those who bought the Palm Pre with hopes that they can sync it to iTunes should not keep their hopes up much.

In an update on their support pages today, Apple took on the issue of unsupported media players which claim that they can be synchronized with iTunes. In an article titled iTunes: About unsupported third-party digital media players, Apple has this to say:

Apple designs the hardware and software to provide seamless integration of the iPhone and iPod with iTunes, the iTunes Store, and tens of thousands of apps on the App Store. Apple is aware that some third-parties claim that their digital media players are able to sync with Apple software. However, Apple does not provide support for, or test for compatibility with, non-Apple digital media players and, because software changes over time, newer versions of Apple's iTunes software may no longer provide syncing functionality with non-Apple digital media players.

It doesn't take a genius, though, to figure out that they're talking about the Pre.

Cabal Online: EP III Patch Download Links

Episode 3 - SOUL and SIENA - is coming next month. Another good news is that you can download the patch this early so you can avoid server congestion when it goes live.

Below are the download links. The file, though, is password protected. The password will be released on or before the maintenance when EP III goes live.

NOTE: Manual Patch FILES are applicable to all game clients that are already running the live server patch smoothly. These are not applicable to newly installed game clients.

PS3 Price To Drop This August

If you wanna own a PS3 but is waiting for the price to drop a little, I guess your long wait is over.

Industry Gamers predicts that Sony may be preparing to lower the price on PS3 this August in order to take advantage of the launch of EA Sports' Madden, which is always an event unto itself.

Currently, the 160 GB PS3 costs $500, while the 80 GB version costs $400.

The Rohan Calendar

Rohan Online have made a calendar ready so you won't miss any important in-game and live events. The calendar is part of a Rohan wallpaper that you can easily use on your desktop so you will always be reminded of the events when you turn on your PC.

As for the events this month, the Rohan website has this to say:

"For June, we will be implementing two major Story arc events. These events will drive the canon of RohanPH and will ultimately give you, our players, a chance to influence the events that will shape the very foundations of Rohan’s rich and battle-ridden history.

Wage war with The Five and quell the Siege of Einhoren. Servers can win up to a whole week’s worth of PLP (Power leveling Periods) if you can beat the commander of the siege : The Goddess of Wind herself : Silva!

Test your might and prove that you do not fear death by joining the massive PVP driven event: Garrick’s Ascension. Show no quarter and spare no one! But tread lightly, you might go against the two major characters of Rohan’s history. The spoils of war will only be handed to the most blood thristy of warriors. Be amongst the first to win an exclusive item and extra boosters!

Of course, the usual favorite: FRE (forge/refine events) is still there for those who want to bolster their defenses and strengthen their offense via armors and weapons! Watch out for any discount and sale announcements!
