Microsoft's Bing Search Engine

After Live Search, Microsoft has a new attempt to compete with Google. Bing!

The new search engine promises a simpler yet more colorful design to make people want to use it instead of the now dominant Google.

Would you shift? Hmmm... You can try Bing next week as it is scheduled to be launched June 3.

Then perhaps we can say "Bing it" instead of "Google it."

I doubt it, though.

The Cabal High School Uniform

In time for the opening of classes, Cabal Online is releasing new costumes at the item shop. Coming this June 2009 - the Cabal High School Uniform.

Cute, but I hope players would still be donning their real school uniforms and go to school. Don't cut classes, peeps. Prioritizing things will take you a long way, and school should be on top of your priorities.

Mobius Games Introduces WolfTeam

How would you like to play a first-person shooting game with a twist?

Mobius Games brings to the country the new sci-fi/fantasy game, WolfTeam. It is much like the well-loved Counter Strike, or Special Force to the late-bloomers, but players can transform into a werewolves and in turn be more resilient against weapons. Once transformed into wolves, you will also be able to move faster, jump higher and climb walls. How about that?

Hackenslash has this to say about the game's storyline:

The story is set in the year 2013 when scientists develop a vaccine called “Epocine” to treat a human genetic disorder caused by a wayward wolf DNA. However, the vaccine developer creates a “Anti-Epocine” that enhances wolf features in humans.

The French Army is supplied with the Anti-Epocine and creates a group of mercenaries called WolfTeam. Unfortunately, the WolfTeam disengages from the French Army to become a mercenary group.

The game is reported to come out May 7.

Facebook's Restaurant City

I've been playing Facebook's Restaurant City for quite a few days now. It's addicting, believe me. Much more addicting than Pet Society. I have actually given up on my pet like long before I learned about Restaurant City. I just can't seem to get enough money there.

But "running a restaurant" is kinda like just watching and feeding my "crew" in 75% of health. LOL! You have to make sure not to let their health get lower than 75% or they will become so slow.

I'm currently level 11 and rank 2nd among my friends.

Restaurant City is being published by Playfish, which also publishes Pet Society.

Rohan Online: Item Mall Sale and PLP

ZX Online: The Great In-Game Sale

5. The GMs will then provide riddles on where they would be located (i.e. the merchant of the Empress is now ready in a dark valley wherein a beautiful waterfall can be found and the mobs are nowhere to be found. This area is one of the portals in Heyang City)
6. The first one to get there and purchase the items get to keep what you buy.
7. Currency needed in purchasing: in-game gold, silver or copper. Buy items on special discounts!

Cabal Online Summer EB

There's a Cabal Online Summer EB on May 9th at The Forum, Robinson’s Pioneer from 10 am to 8 pm. There's gonna be lots of activities and cool prizes, aside from the chance to meet your ingame buddies in person.

6x6 GUILD BATTLE TOURNAMENT

Mechanics:
8 Teams will be allowed to register for the 6x6 Guild Battle Tournament.
Each team will be composed of 6 members.

Requirements:
Participants must present an unscratched 100 EP Card to the Tournament Registration Marshal.

Tournament Elimination:
Team 1 will compete against TEAM 2. The Winning Team will remain and compete with the other Teams until all TEAMs are eliminated. The team left standing after the tournament shall be declared the winner.

All tournament participants will use pre-made account provided by e-Games and the CABAL Online team (Default Set of Skills, Equipment, Potions).

Guild Battle Elimination Constraint:
The first team to achieve 15 Kills against the opposing team will win the match.

LEVEL RACE
10 people will be allowed to participate. The gamer with the highest level/exp bar after an hour shall be declared the winner.

Registration will be done on a first-come first-served basis.

Requirement:
Participants must present an unscratched 100 EP Card to the Tournament Registration Marshal.

FREEPLAY
Attendees will be allowed 20 minutes of free play.

Requirement:
Freeplay participants must have the CABAL Stamp from the Event Registration Booth.

The marshal will only collect Attendance sheets with complete requirements. Guilds that were able to complete the attendance sheets will be rewarded with special in-game items.
